Meet the Doula
When bringing forth new life, a mother
to-be needs education, emotional support, and practical techniques. Confronting the intensity of labor pain before you give birth may motivate you to learn ways of dealing with it more effectively when you’re actually in labor. As your Doula, I will help you find your own best methods of coping with labor, nurture you, relieve and support your partner while advocating your interests to your healthcare provider.
Three years ago, not only did I give birth to my son, I gave birth to my passion of empowering mothers and partners. My mission is to improve maternal-child health by preventing unnecessary cesareans through education, providing support for cesarean recovery and promoting vaginal birth after cesarean. I take great pride in encouraging mothers to make educated decisions regarding labor pain management, establishing breastfeeding, and safe baby wearing.
